All services Marketplace builds BD

Multi vendor ecommerce website in Bangladesh with vendor accounts, commissions and payouts.

Rizer designs and builds a multi vendor ecommerce website in Bangladesh for businesses that want many sellers in 1 store: vendor accounts and shop pages, product approval, commission rules, vendor payouts, order splitting and courier booking per vendor. Checkout takes cash on delivery and local wallet payments. 8+ years, 120+ projects, rated 4.9 from 50+ reviews.

Where the build starts

The checkout, courier and admin parts already run in stores we built in Bangladesh.

We have not published a multi-vendor marketplace case study. Mystic Shop BD and NextGen Mobile are single-vendor stores we built for the Bangladeshi market. Their cash-on-delivery checkout, wallet payments, courier booking and order admin are the parts a marketplace needs, extended to many sellers.

What we build

Multi vendor marketplace features for sellers and owners.

6 parts that separate a marketplace from a normal online store.

Vendor accounts and shop pages

Each seller registers, submits business and payout details, and gets a public shop page with their own products, logo and policies. The marketplace admin approves a vendor before any of their products go live.

Product approval

Vendors add products with variants, prices, photos and stock. New and edited listings wait in an approval queue, so your team checks titles, images and prices before customers see them.

Commission rules

Commission set per vendor, per category or per product, as a percentage or a flat amount. Each order stores the commission that applied at the time of sale, so a later rule change does not rewrite past orders.

Vendor payouts

Each vendor sees a running balance of delivered orders minus commission and returns. Payouts go out by bank transfer or mobile wallet on the schedule you set, and the admin records each one with its reference.

Order splitting

A cart with products from 3 vendors becomes 1 customer order and 3 vendor sub-orders. Each vendor sees only their own items, packs them and marks them ready for pickup.

Courier booking per vendor

Each sub-order is booked as its own parcel from the vendor's pickup address. Mystic Shop BD already books Pathao and Steadfast parcels from the order and maps courier status back onto fulfilment.

Order flow

How 1 order moves from checkout to vendor payout.

6 steps, each leaving a record that the admin, the vendor and the customer can see.

01

Customer checks out

The customer pays once, by cash on delivery, bKash or SSLCommerz. The phone field accepts +880 and Bengali numerals and saves 1 dialable number.

02

Order is split

The system creates 1 sub-order per vendor and alerts each vendor by email and in their dashboard.

03

Vendor confirms

The vendor confirms stock. For cash-on-delivery orders, your team can phone the customer first, as NextGen Mobile does before anything is dispatched.

04

Parcel is booked

The courier parcel is booked from the vendor's pickup address, and the consignment ID is saved on the sub-order.

05

Delivery and collection

Courier status updates the sub-order. For cash on delivery, the collected amount is matched against the courier's settlement.

06

Commission and payout

Commission is deducted, the vendor's balance updates, and the payout is recorded with its reference.

Built for Bangladesh

What a marketplace in Bangladesh has to handle.

7 local requirements. The single-vendor version of each is documented in a case study.

Cash on delivery across many sellers

On cash-on-delivery orders, the courier collects the cash and settles it with the marketplace. The system tracks which sub-orders the courier has settled, so vendors are paid only for money the marketplace has received.

Wallet and gateway payments

Mystic Shop BD takes bKash, SSLCommerz and manual Nagad payments alongside cash on delivery. Our payment gateway integration page explains how each method connects to the order.

Courier APIs

Pathao and Steadfast parcels are booked from the order on Mystic Shop BD, with consignment IDs stored and status mapped back. See our courier API integration page for the details.

Delivery zones

Mystic Shop BD publishes inside Dhaka and outside Dhaka rates and dates, and NextGen Mobile prices Rajshahi and the rest of Bangladesh separately. On a marketplace, the rate can also depend on where each vendor ships from.

Order tracking by phone number

On NextGen Mobile, customers enter the number they ordered with and see their orders and statuses, with no account to create. On a marketplace, the same lookup shows each vendor's parcel separately.

Search across vendors

NextGen Mobile's search corrects misspelled model names and reads Bengali and English. When many vendors list similar products, search and filters decide whether a buyer finds the right listing.

Meta tracking that reports on profit

On Mystic Shop BD, every order records the advert that produced it, so Facebook ad spend is measured against margin. On a marketplace, that tracking also shows which vendors' products the ads sell.

Dashboards

4 views of the marketplace, 1 for each role.

Each role sees only what it needs, behind its own login or lookup.

Marketplace admin

Vendor approvals, the product queue, commission rules, every order and sub-order, returns and payouts. IELTS Test BD runs its whole centre from an 18-screen admin we built, including a queue where staff approve mobile-payment proofs. Vendor and product approval queues work the same way.

Vendor dashboard

Products, variant stock, sub-orders waiting to be packed, parcel status, the current balance and payout history. Vendors cannot see other sellers' data.

Customer side

A mobile-first storefront, a single checkout for items from several vendors, and order tracking by phone number.

Finance reports

Commission earned, cash on delivery waiting for courier settlement, payouts sent and returns by vendor, so the marketplace owner can reconcile each month.

Platform choice

WooCommerce with a marketplace plugin or a custom build.

The right one depends on how many vendors you expect, how complex the payout rules are and how much of the local order flow must run automatically.

Case studies

3 builds a marketplace build starts from.

2 single-vendor stores and 1 web app with an approval workflow. Each is a published case study with screens from the live product.

Mystic Shop BD

A custom commerce platform with taka pricing, cash on delivery, local wallet payments and Pathao and Steadfast courier booking. Storefront, checkout, admin and analytics share 1 codebase. A marketplace build extends that base with vendor accounts and payouts.

NextGen Mobile

A Rajshahi phone store with a custom storefront, typo-tolerant search, a cash-on-delivery checkout with Bengali numeral and +880 phone normalisation, and order tracking by phone number. It runs on 1 Cloudflare Worker.

0 runtime dependencies, no platform fees or commission

Cost

What sets the cost of a marketplace build.

We do not publish prices. We send a quote after a free 15-minute call, based on these 6 points. For single-vendor stores, see our page on ecommerce website cost.

Vendor features

Vendor registration, shop pages, the vendor dashboard and the product approval queue. Extra features such as vendor coupons or vendor reviews add to the scope.

Commission and payout rules

1 flat commission is simpler to build than rules that vary by vendor, category and product. Payout schedules, holds for returns and payout methods all affect the build.

Payment methods

Cash on delivery, bKash, SSLCommerz and manual Nagad each connect to the order and to the vendor balance in a different way.

Courier integrations

The number of couriers, booking from each vendor's pickup address, and matching cash settlements to sub-orders.

Platform

WooCommerce with a marketplace plugin costs less up front. A custom build costs more up front and removes plugin licences and platform fees.

Content and launch catalogue

Whether you supply the brand, copy and images or we produce them, and whether we help onboard the first vendors and their products.

Questions

Multi-vendor marketplace websites, common questions.

What is a multi vendor ecommerce website?

It is an online store where several independent sellers list and sell products under 1 brand. Each vendor manages their own products, stock and orders. The marketplace owner approves vendors and listings, takes a commission on each sale and pays each vendor their balance.

How much does a multi vendor ecommerce website in Bangladesh cost?

We do not publish prices. We send a quote after a free 15-minute call. The quote depends on the vendor and admin features, the commission and payout rules, the payment methods, the courier integrations, whether the marketplace runs on WooCommerce with a plugin or on custom code, and whether we produce the content.

Have you built a multi-vendor marketplace before?

We have not published a multi-vendor marketplace case study. Mystic Shop BD and NextGen Mobile are single-vendor stores we built for the Bangladeshi market. Their checkout, payment, courier booking and order admin are the parts a marketplace build starts from. IELTS Test BD, a web app, shows the approval queues and the 18-screen admin we build.

How are vendors paid on a marketplace?

Each vendor's balance is the value of their delivered orders minus commission and returns. For cash on delivery, an order counts once the courier has settled the cash with the marketplace. Payouts go out by bank transfer or mobile wallet on the schedule you set, and each payout is recorded with its reference.

Can a customer buy from several vendors in 1 order?

Yes. The customer pays once at checkout. The order is split into 1 sub-order per vendor, each vendor packs only their own items, and each sub-order is booked as its own courier parcel from that vendor's pickup address.

How long does a marketplace website take to build?

A standard website is ready in about 2 to 4 weeks. A marketplace with vendor accounts, commissions, payouts and courier booking takes longer, and we set its timeline once the scope is agreed.

Do you work with marketplace owners anywhere in Bangladesh?

Yes. Rizer works remotely with businesses across Bangladesh. NextGen Mobile and IELTS Test BD are in Rajshahi, and Mystic Shop BD sells nationwide. Projects start with a free 15-minute call and then run over calls, email and our message form.
