The checkout lists the methods you accept, such as bKash, Nagad, card through SSLCommerz and cash on delivery. The order is saved as unpaid, with its total fixed on the server.
Your server sends the order ID and amount to the gateway with your merchant credentials and gets back a payment page link. The amount cannot be edited in the browser.
On the bKash or Nagad page, the customer enters their wallet number, an SMS verification code and their PIN. Card numbers are typed on the gateway's page and never reach your server.
The customer lands on your success, failure or cancel page. SSLCommerz also notifies your server directly, so the payment is recorded even if the tab closes.
Your server confirms the transaction ID, amount and status with the gateway. Only a completed payment for the right amount marks the order paid, and only once.
The transaction ID is saved on the order, the customer gets a receipt, and the order moves to packing. A failed payment sends the customer back to retry or choose cash on delivery.
Each online payment gateway in Bangladesh has its own authentication and API calls. bKash, SSLCommerz and manual Nagad run on Mystic Shop BD. The SSLCommerz payment gateway, often called the SSL payment gateway in Bangladesh, is an aggregator: 1 account covers cards, wallets such as bKash and Nagad, and internet banking. Each transaction is confirmed with its validation API. Mystic Shop BD uses SSLCommerz hosted payment.

On WordPress, each gateway runs as a WooCommerce payment plugin. We install and configure the gateway's own plugin where one exists. Where none fits your checkout, we write a bKash WordPress payment plugin that creates the payment, handles the callback and verifies it on your server.
Shopify takes payments only through providers it has approved. For a Shopify bKash payment or an SSLCommerz Shopify integration, we check which Bangladeshi gateways Shopify offers your store, or add a wallet as a manual payment method.
The payment code sits in the store's own codebase, beside the checkout and the orders. Because Mystic Shop BD owns its checkout, it can reward advance payment and change that offer when it needs to.

Yes. bKash issues API credentials only to approved merchant accounts, and the other gateways work the same way. Each gateway asks for business documents before issuing live credentials; the list varies by gateway. Until approval, customers can pay by manual transfer with admin approval, as students do on IELTS Test BD.
Yes. If Shopify offers an approved Bangladeshi gateway that covers bKash for your store, we connect it. If not, bKash is added as a manual payment method, and your staff mark each order paid after checking the transaction ID. Shopify can charge its own fee on orders paid through external gateways.
Yes. We add bKash, Nagad or SSLCommerz to the WooCommerce store you already run, using the gateway's plugin or a custom one, without rebuilding the store. A rebuild or a move to a custom store is quoted separately.
Yes. The checkout shows your wallet number, the customer sends the money and submits the transaction ID and a screenshot, and your staff approve it in the admin. IELTS Test BD takes payments this way, and Mystic Shop BD takes Nagad this way. The trade-off is staff time, since a person checks every payment.
A failed, cancelled or abandoned payment leaves the order unpaid, and the customer can retry or pick another method. bKash and SSLCommerz both offer a refund API, so refunds can be added to your admin as part of the build.
The timeline is set once the gateways and the platform are agreed. Merchant approval runs on each gateway's own schedule, so apply at the start. If you also need a new website, allow about 2 to 4 weeks for it.
