When a Facebook page is enough
You sell a few products and can answer every message yourself. Record each order with the full address and a phone number the courier can call.
This guide explains how to sell products online in Bangladesh in 9 steps: choosing between a Facebook page and a website, product photos, cash on delivery, bKash and SSLCommerz, delivery zones, courier booking with Pathao, Steadfast and RedX, returns and ad tracking. Each step starts with a short answer. The examples come from Mystic Shop BD and NextGen Mobile, 2 Bangladeshi stores Rizer built.
The short answer for each step. The sections below explain each one with an example from a live store.
Start on a Facebook page to test products. Add your own website when orders, stock and ad spend grow.
Show each colour and variant in clear photos, with the price, specifications and stock on the same page.
Make it the default payment option and confirm each order by phone before it ships.
Open merchant accounts and connect them to checkout so customers can pay in advance.
Charge each zone separately and state the arrival time for each one before the customer orders.
Send parcels with Pathao, Steadfast or RedX and save the consignment ID on each order.
Write plain refund, return and delivery policies and answer the common buying questions in public.
Connect the Meta Pixel and Conversions API so each order shows which ad produced it.
Send status updates and let customers check an order with the phone number they used.
Mystic Shop BD and NextGen Mobile both get their demand from Facebook. Both send that traffic to their own website, where the order, the payment and the delivery are recorded.
You sell a few products and can answer every message yourself. Record each order with the full address and a phone number the courier can call.
Messages go unanswered, stock mistakes reach customers, or you cannot see which ad led to a delivered order. A website keeps every order in 1 place.
A buyer who cannot hold the product decides from the photos and the text. Put every detail a buyer would ask about in Messenger on the product page itself.
Use daylight and a plain background. Take the front, back and side, and include a photo that shows the real size of the product.
Shoot each colour and finish separately. On Mystic Shop BD, choosing a variant changes the price, the image and the stock message together.
NextGen Mobile lists 25 pre-owned handsets individually, because condition, storage and colour differ from unit to unit.
List size, material, model or storage. Mystic Shop BD states personalisation options and made-to-order lead times on the product page, before checkout.
Offer cash on delivery as the default, then add wallet and card payments for customers who want to pay in advance. Our page on bKash, Nagad and SSLCommerz integration covers the gateway setup in detail.
Show the delivery charge and the arrival time before the customer confirms, then book the parcel without retyping the address.

Show the delivery charge separately at checkout. NextGen Mobile prices Rajshahi and the rest of Bangladesh separately, each with its own arrival window, and the total updates when the customer picks a zone. Mystic Shop BD publishes inside Dhaka, outside Dhaka and personalised-item timelines, and the same zone rules set the shipping rate and the delivery date at checkout.

Pathao, Steadfast and RedX each give merchants a panel for booking parcels by hand and an API for booking them from a store. Mystic Shop BD books Pathao and Steadfast parcels from the order, stores the consignment ID and maps the courier's delivery status back onto the order, so the shop can compare couriers by delivered and returned parcels.
2 courier integrations on Mystic Shop BD
A refused or returned parcel costs the shop the delivery charge with no sale. Clear policies set expectations before the customer orders.
State which products can be returned, within how many days, in what condition, and how the money comes back: by wallet, by bank transfer or as store credit.
List each zone with its charge and its arrival time. Mystic Shop BD publishes its refund, shipping and care policies as plain pages that customers can read before ordering.
Explain sizes, personalisation and made-to-order lead times where the customer makes the decision.
Log the reason for each refused parcel, such as a wrong number, a wrong address or a changed mind. The pattern shows which checkout rule or policy to add next.
Meta reports clicks and purchases. A cash-on-delivery shop also needs to know which of those orders were delivered and paid. We run Facebook ads in Bangladesh and build single-product landing pages with this tracking in place.
On NextGen Mobile, order tracking by phone number removes the most common reason customers phone the shop.

On NextGen Mobile, a customer enters the phone number they ordered with and sees each order, its status and its total, with no account or password. When the shop moves an order to confirmed, shipped, delivered or cancelled, the customer gets an email automatically.

You can run the Facebook page, the photos and the policies yourself. These are the pieces Rizer builds and runs. All our services are listed on the services page.

Yes, a Facebook page with Messenger orders and cash on delivery works while you can answer every message yourself. A website becomes useful when you need stock tracked per variant, a checkout that captures a dialable phone number and full address, courier booking from the order, and ad results tied to delivered orders.
Start by selling a few products through a Facebook page with cash on delivery, then move orders to your own ecommerce website once orders, stock and ad spend grow. The website puts cash on delivery, bKash and SSLCommerz in 1 checkout and adds delivery charges by zone, courier booking from the order and ad tracking. bKash checkout needs a bKash merchant account approved by bKash. A full website is ready in about 2 to 4 weeks; a custom store with payment and courier integrations takes longer, and we set its timeline in the quote.
Photograph every colour, list each size as its own variant with its own stock, and publish a size guide and a return policy before you take the first order. Explain sizes on the product page, because that is where the customer decides. Offer cash on delivery, confirm each order by phone before it ships, and log why each refused parcel came back so you know which size or policy detail to fix.
The customer pays the courier when the parcel arrives, and the courier passes the money to the shop. The shop carries the risk until then, so:
Open a bKash merchant account, then connect bKash checkout to your store so the customer pays inside the checkout. Mystic Shop BD uses bKash tokenized checkout alongside SSLCommerz and manual Nagad. Without a gateway, customers can send a transfer and submit the reference for an admin to approve. Gateway fees apply to online payments.
Use the courier that performs best on your own parcels, after checking delivery areas, charges, how fast cash on delivery money is paid to you, and how returns are handled. When the store records courier status on each order, as Mystic Shop BD does, you can compare couriers by delivered and returned parcels and choose with data.
We send a quote after a free 15-minute call. The cost depends on the number of products and page templates, the payment gateways and couriers to connect, tracking and admin features, and whether you supply photos and copy. Our ecommerce website cost page explains each factor.
A full website is ready in about 2 to 4 weeks. Ads with a good landing page can bring leads in days. Custom commerce platforms take longer, and we set their timeline once the scope is agreed. SEO grows over 3 to 6 months.
